In the beginning of the iconic 1987 film, The Princess Bride, the grandfather character trudges up the stairs of a family home to check in on his grandson, played by Fred Savage.
Savage’s character is not overjoyed to see the ear-pulling, hair-ruffing, septuagenarian, especially when he brings out a book to read.
“When I was your age,” the grandpa says. “T.V. was called Books.”
At Happy Living we couldn’t agree more. Though The Princess Bride was a good film, it was based on a book that’s even better.
At Happy Living, we love books so much write ‘em, and publish ‘em too. Pick up a book from our growing canon of inspirational titles—and pump out some Mental Push-Ups on an adventure of the mind.
