A love that lasts does something remarkable.

It grows beyond two people and becomes a legacy carried forward by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Seventy years later, that same love is still gathering us together.

🎉 Celebrating 70 Years: This Great Big Love (Revisited)

Sixty years came and went, and still you remain. Two hearts entwined through sunshine and rain. The laughter, the tears, the memories you’ve made. Seventy years  — your legacy displayed. 🌅

You’ve shown that love is a choice made each day, in the small acts of kindness, in the words that you say. Through moves and milestones, through thick and through thin, you taught us that love is where lasting devotion begins. 💖

From Tick Ridge to Brookridge, your story’s been told. A tapestry woven with courage of gold. Each child, each grandchild, and each great-grand’s face, reflects your example of steadfast grace. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

You’ve seen birth and death, the bitter and sweet, yet your faith made both sacred — every win, every defeat. The world keeps on changing, but one truth holds true: Love grows even stronger in souls like your two. 🌎❤️

So here’s to your journey — to life’s Holy art, to the family you’ve built, to the love you impart. It began with two hearts, a promise from above… and it lives on forever, your Great Big Love. 💍✨

Love begins with two people.

But when it is lived with devotion, patience, and faith, it becomes something far greater.

A family.
A legacy.
A story still being written.

And somewhere along that story, each of us discovers the same quiet truth:

This great big love was never meant for us alone.

Congratulations on your 70th anniversary. Far too many today give up rather than sticking together. Your children talk well of you and that is high praise.

I did watch it. That poem you wrote was so touching. It was beautiful! Thank you for sharing mom and dad special celebration with me. Wish I could have had a glass of wine with your mom. She has a special place in my heart Matt of all the women I met while living in PV AZ and belonging to our PEO chapter, your mom touched my heart more than anyone else. She’s a beautiful godly lady. I miss her and our visits.

Amazing!  But what we really want to know is how old were they when they got married?
