My special guest star for episode #138 is Connie Smigiel. Her beloved life partner, Dan Starks, died nearly two years ago. He was the CEO of Starks Training Institute where they worked together, side by side for years. After taking some time off from the business to grieve, she’s back and continuing to provide the Safety and Awareness Seminars and Community Services that the Starks brand is known for. She likes to remind people that Dan would always say, “Remember, it’s your choice, Don’t be a Victim!”

Connie, I LOVE your commitment to serve others by offering them love and understanding, and support and individual attention. And I ADMIRE your resilience and determination to continue with Dan’s legacy of keeping people informed, empowered, and equipped with self-defense training, techniques and education. And I’m super HAPPY that you’ve shared your positive and upbeat and kindhearted spirit on our show today.

With love,
