At this exact moment, I am 8,228 miles from home. My husband and I are in Hong Kong (for his work) and tomorrow we will travel another 3,063 miles to begin our honeymoon in the Maldives! Adventures like this are not without challenge and confusion, awkward moments and total leaps of faith… but for all of the possible downsides, there is plenty of upside. Travel breaks me apart in the best possible way. It takes me out of my routine, forces me to breathe through discomfort, and seek the unknown. Adventures are eye opening, heart expanding, experience gaining, and knowledge growing.
