Joshua Lisec and I first crossed paths last summer at the World Domination Summit[2] in Portland, Oregon: I was hosting a workshop on the Happy Living (Fun) Way of Book Publishing, and he was in the audience. Little did I know—Joshua knew way more than I did about book publishing (and concerning everything else about books, for that matter).
Joshua is a novelist, a ghostwriter with 25 different books in print, a copywriter, a content marketer, and a business strategist. Most recently, he shared his wisdom about entrepreneurship in a TedX talk.
The more I’ve gotten to know this guy, the more I’ve thought, “This is what an entrepreneur looks like.” He soaks up knowledge like a sponge, and he shares it with the world in the niche he calls his Self-Employment Sweet Spot. In other words, he’s working at the intersection where his knowledge and talent meet what the market wants. Joshua knows words and how to use them to get business done. His motto is:
The right words cultivate the right emotions, and the right emotions motivate the right actions.
