Tom Dees was someone that gave a new definition to give. He always gave. He gave all, not like people normally do. He gave so much, none was left for him.
He was truly selfless. If someone needed any help, he made sure they got it. Tom was a 27 year reporter for WHBQ in Memphis, TN. His soul’s purpose was to ease others suffering and burdens by showing through TV news how to help those that needed it. Tom found the positive in every story and person he met and showed it to all of the viewers of the Memphis area. Tom Dees gave so much to others that he had nothing left for himself.
Tom had a disease where his lungs were hardening and he could barely breathe. He watched his father, just 8 months ago pass away for the very same disease. Tom had to be his rock. Tom had to be his father’s lungs. Tom gave all.
Tom Dees gave his father every breath he could. Just like Tom gave the Memphis area hope, laughter and smiles daily. Tom gave so much, he had nothing left for himself. Tom leaves us still giving to us. Those that knew Tom, will give as he did and give to each other.
