At HappyLiving.com, we are committed to sharing valuable insights and information that promote health, happiness, and well-being. Today, I’m thrilled to share the pioneering efforts of our partners Dry Farm Wines and its effervescent founder Todd White, who are revolutionizing the wine industry with their new transparent wine label. This significant step forward empowers consumers like you and me to make informed decisions about the wine we drink, ensuring a healthier and happier experience.

Now, I’m writing to you about one more, fantastic reason: they’ve created the most transparent wine label in the industry.

The Power of Transparency

Todd and his team have gone above and beyond to provide consumers with the most accurate and comprehensive information possible. The new transparent wine label includes a full Serving Facts panel, complete with lab results from a certified food and beverage lab. This panel offers essential nutritional information about the wine we are consuming, empowering us to make choices that align with our health goals.

In addition to the Serving Facts panel, Dry Farm Wines’ label also boasts an Ingredients list, offering full disclosure of what goes into their wines. With a commitment to producing pure Natural Wines, free from harmful additives and chemicals, Dry Farm Wines ensures that our glass of wine is a truly clean and wholesome experience.

“My only regret in life is that I didn’t drink more wine.”
Ernest Hemingway

The Need for Transparency

One startling fact revealed by Todd is that unlike other food and beverages in the United States, wine bottles are not required to have a nutrition label or an ingredients label. This is due to the Treasury Department’s regulation of wine content rather than a food agency.[1] [2] Consequently, consumers remain unaware of what additives may be present in the wine they purchase.

Dry Farm Wines aims to bridge this information gap. While there are 76 additives approved for US wine making, some can be toxic and pose potential health hazards.[3] Shockingly, 12 of these additives are classified as “health hazards” by the National Institutes of Health[4], while two are considered “acute toxins.”[5] [6] Furthermore, four additives are derived from various animal organs[7], and eight originate from molds, including the mycotoxin Ochratoxin A.[8] [9] By providing a transparent label, Dry Farm Wines ensures that you have all the information you need to make educated choices about the wine you enjoy.

The Industry’s Opposition

The wine industry has been reluctant to embrace transparency and has even lobbied against it.[10] However, Todd White and the entire Dry Farm Wines family remain steadfast in their mission to educate consumers about the reality of wine production. By revealing the truth about additives and ingredients, they empower wine enthusiasts to make conscious decisions aligned with their values and well-being.
