HONORING FREEDOM
HONORING FREEDOM is the focus of our meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
We’ll spend our time together discussing three aspects of Honoring Freedom.
- Appreciating Freedom
- Unleashing Freedom
- Encouraging Freedom
First, the importance of appreciating the dedication and courage of our Founding Fathers, who risked everything in their fight for our freedom; and the millions of men and women who have fought in wars to protect our freedom; and the brilliance of our Founders, who established a unique form of government designed to maintain and ensure our freedom.
Second, we’ll delve into unleashing the freedom we have in this country to learn and grow; and to dream and to pursue those dreams; to succeed and to fail; to love whomever we choose and to raise a family, or not; and to own a home and a business; and to think our own thoughts and develop our own unique philosophies of life; to pursue the purpose of our lives… as we determine it to be.
Third, in recognition that freedom comes before everything we hold dear, we’ll discuss what we can do to encourage others to appreciate and unleash their freedom in their lives… and then, pass it on to others!
In preparation for our meetings, I generally recommend that each member ponders over a quote or two and does a little bit of light homework (reading a blog post or two and sometimes viewing a video, too). This is the prep work for our June 8, 2023 meeting.
